PeopleSoft Development Information
Our current GELCO travel system will be replaced by a new travel reimbursement system, Oracle’s PeopleSoft Travel & Expenses. This new system will provide:
- A simple, easy to use system
- Improved, sound ergonomic design
- Enhanced integration with other Laboratory business systems
- Reduced operational cost and reduced cost of system ownership
Project Status
At this time we have received and installed software and performed training. A focus group has been organized to provide input on the design during the development phase as appropriate. This team includes customer representation from each division. Strategic communication about further progress on the development of this system will be provided via Travel Express, Berkeley Lab Today and regular meetings with Division Business Council and other groups to obtain buy-in from system users and other stakeholders.
